Hi dudes and dudas :P for first year here in Bulgaria start a big anime convention - Aniventure 2006. It will start 17 august and end 20 august ( four days drinking, play games, watch anime and amv's, all night party ). If anyone know bulgarian here bg site - http://parlone.no-ip.com/aniventure/
Unfortunately for now english site of convention its down, because our site managers are too lazy, i hope soon english site will be ready.
I'm coordinator of this year contest and main organizator of convention. Here amv contest info.
Categories are - Action/Horror, Drama/Romance, Fun/Parody
Rules :
1.Each Video will be limited to a maximum length of 6 mn and minimum 1 mn.
2.Three amv's will be accepted per team, studio, group or person, but no 2 amv's in same category.
3.Each video submitted must contain at least 75% of anime footage.
4.Each video must contain at least 75% music to video footage.
5.No titles,bumpers,credits,watermarks,logos and subtitles ( subtitleswill be accept if you put your own subtitles ).If there is bumpers and credits , they will be remove.
6.No hentai.
7.Video formats - avi/mpeg ; Codec - DivX/XviD/MPEG-1 ; Audio - Microsoft WAV Uncompresed/MPEG Layer-3/IMA ADPCM ; Minimum resolution - 640 x 480 ; Filesize cannot be bigger than 250 mb ; Minimum framerate - 23,938 fps ;
8.To keep contest fresh we cannot accept older amv's than 6 months and amv's that have awards in other amv contest.

Awards will be given for - Best Action/Horror, Best Drama/Romance, Best Fun/Parody, Best Technical, Best Concept, Best Use of Visual Effects, Best Lipsync, Judge Choise, Best of Show
Unfortunataly there will be no big awards, because we dont have sponsors at this moment.

меньший информация о конвенции :
Первьй день - 17 август - смотрить аниме ; игрьi ; drinking ( just hardcore amv makers ) ; all night party ;
Второй день - 18 август - большие турнирьi игрьi - Tekken 5, Soul Calibur 3, Last Blade 2, Samurai Shodown 4 and 6, Guilty Gear XX Reload ; игрьi ; drinking ( again ) ; all night party ;
Третий день - 19 август - amv contest ; cosplay contest ; drawing contest ; other its same like other days
Денъ 4 - 20 август - if there is anyone alive sleep and then go home.
This is just small part of what will be on the convention :)
Reservation of normal room for 3 days its - 43.10 лв / 23 euro ; luxury room for 3 days its - 47.60 лв / 26 euro ;

This sure looks interesting. 2 bad i already have plans 4 august, so i obviously won't make it to this con. But hey, u got my mental support :D. And links to the contest amvs in this topic would be much apreciated ^_^b .

я как раз собирался в августе в Болгарию - in Sofia - Vitosha mountain, we are reservate all mountain hostel for us. You can see pictures here - http://parlone.no-ip.com/aniventure/ ; for now there is 106 free rooms ( 1 room have 2-3 beds ).

Какова цена этого отеля - like i post before : Reservation of normal room for 3 days its - 43.10 лв / 23 euro ; luxury room for 3 days its - 47.60 лв / 26 euro, but this is only for room you have to pay for your breakfast, dinner and so ( but food its cheap ) ;
и что насчёт того что бы заехать пораньше? - early where ? to bulgaria ? if there is a peoples who come early before convention we will find you a places where to sleep and make you feel like home :P
я так понял ты понимаешь русский...но почему пишешь по англиЦки - потому что я учи русского язьiк в школе перед 3-4 лета и не могу писать правильно потому я забьiваю много ( i's sure that i have many mistakes with spelling :P ).

REDECT in Sofia i will find you a place when you can stay, if there is no one in my home you can stay couple of days or you can stay in my friends house, but there is many options, there is many hotels and some of them you can pay only 3-4 euro for night.
а мона узнать,место в котором находится отель-как далеко оно от Золотых Песков? - like i say before its in Sofia, Vitosha moutain, its 350 km from Золотых Песков. That is 4-6 hours with car and 6-8 hours with train/autobus, i dont know how fast it is with airplane, maybe 1-1'30 hours.
