ну, ожидаемо круто.автор таки умудрился превратить артефакты от твикстора в полноценные эффекты.

И хорошо и плохо. Эффекты клёвые (хотя я это ещё в прошлом году сам делал), но их мало. Буквально три эффекта на весь пятиминутный+ клип. И они повторяются, повторяются, повторяются, повторяются...Подбор кадров тоже весьма неоднозначен и рандомщина во все поля.
Так что на эпик-психоделику всё же не тянет.

lolligerjoj, next time don't set ReFrames too high please, use around 4-6. You just make your video unwatchable at most configs...

Editing is indeed great, even superb, but result didn't impress, too senseless. Yes, all scenes fits music just fine and there are visible mood connections between scenes, but sources are too different, the feeling of integral does not appear, unfortunately.

The editing was fine, many will find this purely awesome and judge only by it looks, it was distorted, slow, displayed emotions and stuff like that, but, was completely random, the music didn't helped at all in this regard. You fit happiness, sadness and general joy together using a track like this you kill the whole concept you had in mind. Overall, was pretty bad in terms of value; lacked an actual meaning, didn't build nothing towards the "climax" (read: if there was one); only random scenes that possibly had connection, but also, it didn't. Even for a psychedelic video, you need to inform in a subliminal way, what you want the viewer to understand. "So, people actually smile and... They cry, they feel things inside them, y'know?", well, that's deep.
Also, when the only thing that I see in the author's commentary is explanation about technical details, you can see that the author itself does not give a fuck about what the video is actually about. Please, guide me with your words and I will find emotion in this giant emotionless wasteland, even if there is people smiling and crying with a beautiful detailed background behind them.

I respect your opinion, but I also wish you would watch the video again, assuming that statement wasn't true.
I know that the video as a whole is extremely abstract, but in my eyes there is no alternative way to use the (even more) abstract meaning of the song. That is also the reason why I only put two sentences of technical information in the description, because what I wanted to express is exclusively for this video. Why make a video if you can simply describe it with a few sentences?
Edit: In retrospect I agree that I might have sacrificed some cues towards what I intended the video to be, through putting the aesthetics above in priority, especially in the first part. I will keep that in mind for the future.
I thank everyone for watching the video and giving their honest opinions, even if google translate wasn't quite able to decipher them for me flawlessly enough :)

A good author should NEVER explain his work, once he renders the final outcome it becomes a living creature of its own, the viewer either pays an effort to try to understand it or move on and that what irritate and pisses off pretty much everyone here, that quite psychedelic indeed to create this level of confusion If you ask me, I say a job well done on that.

Оригинальные идеи, это круто. Кто-то говорит, что кадры подобраны рандомно, но на мой взгляд они подобраны под настроение музыки и очень даже грамотно. Однако настроение в этом АМВ слишком ломаное, клип слишком длинный и не однозначный. Местами понравилось, местами нет. Технически ролик просто идеальный, но только технически.

I totally agree with you Gorz, the idea of this is that the viewer understand the purpose or message, that exists in the video, no matter how complicated that is.

I've watched the video a lot of times since I first saw it, and I just wanted to say that the way the video commands the mind of the viewer is ingenious. As I was watching it, I felt my understanding and perception of the video changing every second, and each new "twist" in the video altered my perception of the video entirely. It's very difficult to explain (And this will make me sound like a total stoner), but it felt like the video was almost controlling my perception and understanding of it. I've never seen an AMV do this before, and it was quite spectacular. This video has proved that not only do you have an amazing technical understanding of AMVs (Because, as much as I love Into The Labyrinth, it can basically be described as effects porn), but you have an equal understanding of how to construct an AMV in the non technical sense. Once again, absolutely fantastic, easily one of my favourites so far.

отлично поданная абстракция. кадры подобраны под настроение трека. техника отличная. лично мне трек совсем не понравился и клип показался длинноватым, но общее впечатление от клипа это не испортило.

lolligerjoj, Du hast aber ein Händchen für Abstraktes! Das AMV ist für meinen Geschmack ein bisschen zu lang. Die Musik mag ich auch nicht. Dies ändert jedoch nichts daran, dass Du einen großartigen Job geleistet hast. Viel Erfolg!
